In Single Mode images will only be triggered for storage when an impact occurs or alternatively if the user presses the manual (emergency) button. In Multi Mode recording will start when the power is turned on (digital video recording at up to 30 fps) but will also be triggered by impact or emergency button operation. A pre-determined amount of G-force will activate the camera recording and store the latest image file to memory (10 seconds prior to contact and 5-30 seconds after impact). Images are recorded directly to an included SD card to be later reviewed for surveillance purposes or given as evidence in an investigation.
